The Pittsburgh Steelers are back to normal. They are now 8-5 and leading the AFC South and play all division foes the rest of the season with the Bengals, Ravens, and Browns left on the schedule. After battling injuries early on in the season, tight end Ladarius Green has been back on the field for a month and has clicked well with QB Ben Roethlisberger.
He also played with Philip Rivers. He compared the two.
“They’re two different personalities. They’re both the same to me on the field,” Green said on Gio And Jones on CBS Sports Radio. “They’re both leaders. They want to bring the best out of everybody. They know how to play the game. They’re smart on the field. You can see why they have played as long as they have and why they have had the success they had. I’ve been lucky to play with both of them.”
Who is the biggest trash talker he’s played against? Well, the answer may surprise you.
“The funny thing is I think Phil was the biggest trash talker I played with,” said Green. “He’s just a fiery guy. He likes to compete like Ben does. Phil likes to talk as well. It’s always a funny thing to me.”
